Happy Spring,

This update will be sent about every other month and will be focused on what we’ve shipped and what we’ve learned from the data we’ve collected. No big future promises, just reality. If there are specific things you want to hear or ask for, send me a note.

Check out this mock event page for an overview of most of the features we discuss below. Use code “pass” to access the event, use “free” code for a free ticket, and “hidden” code to reveal a hidden ticket. Feel free to go through the purchase flow to see the experience end-to-end.

1a. Embed tickets on your site

You can now embed your event tickets directly on your website. Check out the Embed tab on your event page → copy the code → drop it on your site and ta-da! Bonus: You can also adjust the embed's colors to match your website's brand.

1b. Event Passes

I spent the first 5 years of my tech career building Square’s and Lyft’s businesses by growing revenue from existing customers. I am a big believer that Ketchup should build tools that help event producers retain and upsell their customer lists rather than continually going outside to find new people. This is why we built passes. Many of our producers host monthly events, and now you have a tool to front-load ticket sales to your fans. Here’s a walkthrough of how it works.
